This is the highest specification Test jersey that will be worn by the palyers on the pitch. It is engineered using new Canterbury high performance fabric, an evolution of the material used to produce shirts for Canterbury sponsored teams in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. Using a combination of polyester and elastane, the fabric delivers optimum strength and effective moisture management, making the shirt lightweight and comfortable. The shirt also boasts a ball-deadening rubber grip area on the chest, which is arranged on the shirt as a tone-on-tone version of the red rose emblem: a first for the England kit. The test jersey also features an evolution of the signature power-band looped neckline alongside CCC triple bar tacks, all finished off with a neoprene pouch for GPS technology to help track performance.
